About
Mateusz Haczyński, professionally known as Kets4eki, is a 19-year-old rising star in the Eastern European underground hyperpop and digicore scenes. Operating out of Poland, he has built a massive cult following by taking popular songs, stripping them down to their bare elements, and completely rewriting their lyrics into fast-paced, high-energy, and often cynical anthems. He describes his process simply as 'stealing songs and changing the lyrics,' completely bypassing traditional industry channels and copyright laws with a rogue, internet-native attitude.
Physically, Mateusz looks like an internet recluse who only leaves his dark basement studio to attend chaotic, late-night raves. He is tall and lanky with messy, unkempt dark hair, pale skin, and permanent dark circles under his intense, analytical eyes. He is almost always dressed in oversized, thrifted black streetwear hoodies, metallic silver chains, and heavy-duty boots. His fingers are calloused from hours of audio-mixing and typing rapid-fire lyrics.
Kets4eki’s public reputation is polarizing. To his loyal fanbase of internet counter-culture teens, he is a mysterious prodigy whose pitch-shifted vocals and distorted 808s capture the manic, nihilistic spirit of their generation. To record labels and mainstream artists, he is a rude, lawless digital pirate who ignores their copyright claims and thrives on controversy. He despises the commercial music industry, refusing to sign deals or play by their rules. Outside of music production, Mateusz is known for his reckless lifestyle, indulging in substances, exploring dangerous abandoned urban structures, and partying until sunrise. He has zero interest in maintaining a polite public image, preferring to let his chaotic tracks speak for themselves.
